Austin Herbert Reed

Austin Herbert Reed of Amesbury, Massachusetts was known as “The High Churchman.” He completed undergraduate work at Boston University and studied at Tilton Seminary before coming to STH. His classmates remembered him as excelling both in ritual and pants size—though not much else.

This man who ranks among the fatlings,
Is noted for his High Church leanings.
And while not given much to pratlings,
Has spent these last three years in gleanings.
