G. Ernest Thomas
Born in Bolton, England, in 1907, G. Ernest Thomas moved to Manchester, New Hampshire in 1910. Soon after his graduation from the Pinkerton Academy in Derry, New Hampshire in 1925, Thomas enrolled at the Boston University School of Theology and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Religious Education in 1929, his Bachelor’s in Sacred Theology in 1932, and became a Doctor of Theology in 1935. While ministering in churches, Thomas also was a prolific author and popular speaker. He was recognized by The Foundation for Evangelism as one of the forty outstanding Methodist leaders in evangelism.
