We are an established United Methodist Church in service for ~40 years, and located in Andover, MA. We are seeking Youth Pastor to lead the English worship services, bible studies, and Saturday Night Gathering activities of the youth group mainly with second generation Korean and some diverse students in Jr. high and high school ages.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary worship leader including the weekly sermons,
- Serve as a Spiritual leader for the adolescent age students,
- Work with the youth parents to provide Saturday Night Gathering activities,
Requirement:
- Experience in a similar role, whether vocationally or on a voluntary basis,
- Current seminary students or graduates,
- Understanding second generation Korean students’ difficulties in their life is desirable,
The employment can start from November 2016. Estimated work hours will be 10-12 hours per week with $1000-1200 per month scholarship/compensation support.
