The 城市倡议 (IOC) is partner在g with the 欧洲澳门威尼斯人注册网站研究中心 at the 帕迪全球澳门威尼斯人注册网站研究学院 to host 来自左翼的主要城市, a conversation with 托马斯·盖泽尔市长 of Dusseldorf, 德国y, on the challenges of lead在g a city from the political left.

Thomas Geisel于2014年6月当选为杜塞尔多夫市长。 Geisel市长受过律师教育（拥有哈佛大学肯尼迪学院的MPA学位），在进入市政厅之前曾在能源部门工作。 他是杜塞尔多夫保守统治15年后的第一位社会民主党市长。
