Beate Alhadeff has an MLitt from the University of Oxford, England. Her thesis on Modern European Drama was supervised by the eminent critic Terry Eagleton. Prior to that she earned a BA in Comparative Literature from the University of East Anglia at Norwich, England. At UEA she was Regensburg University’s exchange student. Alhadeff女士于1992年开始在波士顿大学任教，并于2008年至2015年担任德语项目负责人，开发了多种中级和高级课程，包括电影、商业、历史、艺术和古典音乐课程。 She has also taught Spanish, which she learned while living in Buenos Aires.
